Yes, Spain!!!!
SPAIN WITH THE STEEL CHAIR???
I don’t want to write emails, I want to gather a long skirt in my hands and stand with my feet in the river.
The spell was broken. My uncle learned to laugh, and I learned to cry. The secret garden is always open now. Open, and awake, and alive. If you look the right way, you can see that the whole world is a garden.

Boycotting (unless stated otherwise) hurts strikes. The message you’re sending to corporations when you boycott isn’t “support your workers or I’ll stop giving you money” the message you’re sending is “I don’t care about your workers.”
When it comes to the current strike with WGA, you can absolutely watch whatever you like. You can watch the Barbie movie, Good Omens, Oppenheimer, the PJO remake, the FNAF movie, the One Piece movie, or whatever else.
The movies and shows you want to boycott aren’t out yet. If the strike continues for long enough, Hollywood could be desperate and make a movie only using AI and that’s the movie you’ll want to boycott.
If you don’t have an alternate to piracy, that’s fine, piracy is for cool kids (and if you want to know some piracy tips r/piracy is a good place to look and you can feel free to DM me because I’m more than happy to share the sites I use). But if you want to support the strike do not boycott.
If i ever meet an alien i want them to draw me - imagine, someone not knowing (or having complitely different then) human biology and beauty standarts drawing a person. Maybe the limbs being too long, maybe the eyes having a predatory gaze (even if u were posing for a second hour, barely not falling asleep) maybe the hair looking different or colors matching ur body temperature
There’s also that their forms of art could be different! Maybe instead of sculpting they would put on shiny gems and rocks, maybe instead of drawing with solid graphite they could draw with non drying liquid or making stuff best viewed in 5D?
idk i want to see art perceived in nonhuman way.
we justifiably give Biden a lot of shit but I think “at least 3” is the funniest possible response to some right wing dipshit asking you how many genders there are
wait it gets better

I love the library
i recently went to the library, picked out a giant comfy chair in the middle of the place, sat down and just read for an hour. it was a genuinely pleasurable and cathartic experience. i highly suggest going just to be there. you don’t have to check your books out and leave. hell, you don’t have to check anything out at all. just browse, pick something up, start it, put it down, pick something different. just exist in a space built specifically for your community.
Libraries are a great way to spend time in public (regardless of reading/not-reading preferences)
Bc Third Spaces (places you can exist that aren’t home or work/school) are endangered–and libraries are currently our most thriving species of Third Spaces. Natural characteristics of Libraries include:
- free wifi and outlets!
- quiet! peace and quiet!
- comfy seating
- not crowded!!!
- you get to be left alone in peace! personal space is sorta sacred at a library
- BUT there’s also super friendly staff/patrons if you’re feeling social.
How To Enjoy A Library (without reading anything if u don’t want to):
- pack a laptop + thermos of Beverage + maybe some snacks? and just…go and hang out. sit in a comfy chair. stream a movie on the wifi. jam out (with headphone duh) while browsing socal media (or magazines!). luxuriate in being allowed to exist! in public! without being charged by the minute.
- (p.s. many libraries lend phone/laptop chargers, headphones, and even entire laptops. plus there’s always the public desktops. if you’re ever stuck with a few hours to kill…the library is comfier than the nearest starbucks)
IN CONCLUSION: libraries are just very comfy and convenient places to exist. you can go there, not glance at a single book, and still have a chill time w/ fun (and free!) public resources.
sexy sexy free public resources
Facebook deleted this almost immediately. It’s almost like the ultrawealthy don’t want us knowing or talking about what’s at stake.
Just want to add one thing:
In countries with universal healthcare, this is a non-issue during a strike. Our access to healthcare isn’t tied to working. It’s an unconditional right for each and everyone of us.
The US system screws workers over in oh so many ways.
This is exactly why US companies fight so hard against universal healthcare; even if single payer healthcare is cheaper on a per-person basis and takes the cost away from the employer, it also takes POWER and leverage away from the employers… and they don’t ever want to give that up.
wish it was easier to tell the difference between ‘pain that will get better if you use the body part’ and ‘pain that will get worse if you use the body part’ and ‘pain that is indifferent to you using the body part’ tbqh
It’s going to vary a lot from person to person, but as a rule of thumb:
- If it feels tight/locked up/achy it needs to move, but be aware that it almost certainly needs to move slowly and gently until the pain begins to ease
- If it feels sharp/hot/tender and/or gets worse with pressure/weight, it needs to rest. Massage, heat, or ice may help.
- If you move the body part and feel grinding/clicking that’s new or worse than usual it needs to rest or possibly to get a brace on it
- Electrical pain or pain that comes with numbness and tingling is probably nerve pain, and nerve pain cares not what you do with your body but it might care what position it’s in, so it’s less about using the body part and more about how you’re using the body part.
- You can have multiple things going on which get worse or better with different things, and the best thing to do here is vary what you’re doing. Lying in bed like a slug is what you’re going to want to do. But you’ll feel better if you get up and move around for just a few minutes before going back to resting.
This is true. The frontal lobe uses as much as 30% of your daily caloric intake. Imagine if every day, you had to max out on frontal lobe usage just to cope with reality. It puts the nervous system into a stress situation and this further affects the body’s ability to use calories efficiently.
Being neurodivergent or disabled means masking, and masking is incredibly difficult for the body. It’s also very demanding on the brain.
Also “you don’t look autistic” is fucking stupid and ableist to say.
Running ActLikePeople.Exe is fucking EXHAUSTING, let alone ActLikePeopleExpect.
